Let's focus on the one book. "A Century of War"
Your objectives for this independent study are threefold.
1. As you read each chapter evaluate what effect the actions described in each chapter have on the 5 ideals that we have been studying in our class this year (Liberty,m Equality, Rights, Opportunity, and Democracy). Write a post that analyzes the above for each chapter All the "Ideals" do not need to be addressed in each chapter but I imagine a least two of them will be.
2. Create a post for each of the three presidents. In these posts you will be evaluating the actions of each of them and comparing what is written in "A Century of War" with what is written in your text book and at least 3 other sources for each. You will need to research sources with different perspectives on the actions of all three presidents.
3. You will use the information that you gather above to develop an essay, the thesis of which needs to be developed by April 12th. The paper will be due on May 3rd.

ReplyDeletehonestly your essay does not show much sign of completing the above.
Lincoln is the only president of the three that you mention.
there should also be evidence from most, if not all OFE the chapters. I set this up for you to use the info from the posts you wrote.
